The Toyohashi University of Technology have developed a way to implant a silicon large-scale integration chip into the brain. This chip are implanted in a very thin film of thickness. This new wireless device has the power to monitor brain activity that use neural signals from the brain cells. The chip requires a power source, antenna for wireless communication, and many functional circuits.
